WHO WE ARE

BeYOUU Incorporated, also known as Be Your Own Unique U, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth socially, emotionally, and intellectually.

Guided by our five core pillars C.R.E.E.E. (Community, Representation, Education, Empowerment, and Engagement) we give youth the tools to build self-esteem, understand their emotions, and learn important life skills. Through our programs, BeYOUU works to close the gap between generations and create understanding, decreasing many disparities that plague our families and community today. We are a safe space where youth can be themselves and families have the resources to grow toward a better and brighter future.

WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE

While many organizations focus only on teens, BeYOUU Inc. starts earlier because early intervention saves lives.

Our founder, a pediatric nurse, once cared for a 7-year-old who attempted suicide. That moment became our “why.” We work with youth ages 8 to 17, helping them understand their emotions, build confidence, and find a sense of belonging — even if that support doesn’t come from home. From childhood through high school graduation, we walk alongside our youth during the most critical and formative years of their development.

What truly sets us apart is that we believe lasting change happens when youth are supported not just individually, but through strong family ties and connected communities. That’s why our programs include family workshops, community events, and spaces that help adults grow alongside the children they love.
Through our Core Pillars of Community, Representation, Empowerment, Education, and Engagement, Whether it’s in-school mentoring, summer programs, or family-centered events, our approach ensures that young people feel seen, supported, and equipped to thrive.
