Depression, Anxiety, and Behavioral Disorders are the leading causes of illness in youth today. Many suffer in silence—without the tools, support, or voice they need.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide youth ages 8-17 with tools to develop Resilience, Confidence, and Strong Character Traits that will follow them into adulthood through our acronym C.R.E.E.E.

Community

When we serve together, we grow together. At BeYOUU, we create opportunities for our youth to take part in meaningful service. Whether it’s volunteering, helping those in need, or creating youth-led events that bring the community together. Our goal is to instill humility, generosity, and leadership. Through service, our young people discover that it’s cool to care, that they don’t have to do life alone, and that giving back can help them uncover their purpose.

Representation

Discovering their power, their voice, and endless possibilities ahead! We expose youth to what’s possible beyond their everyday environment by broadening their vision of what they can become. This includes attending community and civic events, colleges, and local businesses. We also place a strong emphasis on connecting our youth with leaders, professionals, and changemakers who look like them—because representation matters. When youth see people who reflect their background and experiences, they begin to truly believe, “That could be me.”

Education

At BeYOUU, we believe education goes far beyond the classroom. We focus on increasing real-life knowledge through hands-on, relatable experiences. This includes basic life skills, basic literacy enhancement, growth opportunities, and much more! It’s all about prepping our youth not just to pass, but to thrive—in school, in life, and in leadership.

Empowerment

Because when young people believe in themselves, everything begins to change.
At BeYOUU, we empower youth to see themselves as leaders: worthy, capable, and enough just as they are. Through confidence-building, resilience training, and Social Emotional Learning (SEL), we help them understand their emotions, challenge negative thoughts, and grow through what they go through.
We also show them the power of lifting others up. Whether it’s encouraging a peer or giving back to their community, they learn that making someone else feel good can strengthen their own self-worth too.

Engagement

At BeYOUU, engagement means more than just showing up—it means bringing families and communities together to rewrite the narrative. We work to break harmful stigmas, rebuild trust, and help both youth and their families see themselves in a brighter light. By addressing social disparities like violence, trauma, and lack of resources, we create space for healing, growth, and unity.
